NEWS FROM THE TOWN OFFICE - 327-2121

Spring!!!  I think the time has finally arrived for the sun to start getting warmer and the snow to melt!!  It has been a very long winter and I, for one, am glad it’s on its way out the door.

There are a few very important items the Board of Selectmen and I need to share with you.

First, we will be opening bids for electrical work on the building.  Please see the Request for Proposal included in this newsletter.

NEWS FROM THE TOWN OFFICE - 327-2121

I know I speak for many of you when I say, “I can’t wait for Spring!!”  This winter season has brought us a great variety of weather, from freezing rain, rain that freezes on the road, to snow and ice, and everything in between!  I, for one, will be happy to see the days stretch out longer and warmer as time marches on.  One of the surest signs of spring’s arrival is Town Meeting.  March 14 & 15 are the two days to mark on your calendars to let your voice be heard.

News from the Bradford Days Committee

The Bradford Days Committee has been very busy! We have been in contact with many organizations, like the Anah Temple Shriners, The National Guard, and The State Police, to book them for Bradford Days 2014. It’s hard to believe, but it is getting close to the time that we will be looking for donations and volunteers!

NEWS FROM YOUR LIBRARY

Will this winter ever end?   If you're looking for something to get you through cabin fever time, come check out your Library for some great books—books that can take you to exotic and warm places or how-to books to help you learn a new skill.  We have lots of choices.  Plus we have four public access computers for your use.  These are especially helpful now that tax time is rolling around.

Sledding

Thanks to a couple volunteers (Todd Lufkin & Dusty Kelley), the Dump Road has been plowed so that everyone can enjoy sledding there this winter. To get there, take the Middle Road:

  • From the East Road it is approximately 2 1/4 miles on the right.
  • From the Lagrange Road it is approximately 1 3/4 on the left.

There is a gate just after you turn onto the road leading to the hill, and it will be open. Enjoy!
