THANK YOU!!! To all of our sponsors, volunteers and vendors...THANK YOU!!!
Every year the committee works with more than 100 people to make this event happen, and we greatly appreciate every single one of you! This year we had more sponsors than ever, and we could not have done it without you all. From donating prizes for our annual BINGO to monetary donations to bring back laser tag and our unbelievable fireworks display, this event could not happen without our generous sponsors!
The committee would like to give a special thank you to the following local businesses for their extremely generous donations of $500 or more:
- Parker Lumber Company (Bradford)
- Mayo Family Farm (Sebec)
- The 95er Diner (Howland)
We would also like to take this time to thank all of our volunteers for your hard work and dedication. We see many of you every year, and we could not have organized this day without your help. A special thank you to our Bradford Days Committee members as well: Samantha Saunders, Carlene Oaks and Matthew Stevens.
Sadly, the committee is losing its chairperson this year that means Bradford Days is in need for someone to come forward and head up this event for 2018. If you are interested in giving back to your community by help organizing this fun event please call the town office at 327-2121. It comes with a binder full of information to help you succeed.
It takes almost 10 months to plan Bradford Days from contacting all the vendors to collecting donations. Many of the venders are booked by March, there is no time to waste. For the past few years the committee has been made up of three members with the chairman resigning, another retiring from the committee and the last member is deployed during the 2018 Bradford Days; if we want this day to happen in July of 2018 the committee needs members now. This is a community event that needs people from the community to make it happen otherwise we are going to lose this day. If you are interested in keeping this tradition going please call the office for more information.
